Interior Fishing on the 11TH
« on: Nov 09, 2009, 05:10 PM »
Just wondering who has off or will be feeling sick on Veterans Day (Wed)? I was thinking a trip to Birch to fish off the rest area or the boat launch would be fun or somewhere, any suggestions? If anyone has a trailer and can bring snowmachines we could scoot around on those...I have no trailer but could get one if anyone elses is interested in doing it. Get a couple of shelters and make a good day of it!

Who's in!

Leave number so we can make arrangements!

HAPPY VETERANS DAY...SUPPORT OUR TROOPS AND TO THOSE...WELCOME HOME!

do you have cold weather gear? Heading out of town before 8 to get the fishin fireman and then off to birch - back to town around 5:30 or so

Army guy get your rear in gear and drive to Birch but be sure to grab your license! We have plenty of fishing gear so come on down...might bring a chair too.

You really want to drive that far? I know Chena Lakes doesn't have the big fish but I think you would be better off going there instead of driving an hour and have her want to leave in two hours. Just a thought because I don't know how old your daughter is but I might be able to come out for a little while to Chena lakes or somewhere close on Saturday if you wanted to do that. I think my girlfriend might be persuaded to come along too and maybe I'll have my daughter and bring the underwater camera.

Let me know

DANG IT!!!  Brad and Jeremy I would have made that trip if I had logged on and saw your post!  I had to work on the house Vets day, but sure could have soaked a line.  Good to see you caught a couple fish and broke in the Birch lake ice.  ;)  Day after Turkey day may have to be a fishing day????

great pics guys!  nice to see some guys actually SMILE holding their catch.  some guys look as though it's a burden to ice fish!  One week to go on the slope and then hopefully a little time on the ice!
