If you are using a bobber or waiting for your pole to double over you will miss 95% of the bites. Were you using a flasher?

I went up to Georgetown last week.  Just one salmon.  A few trout.  Hopefully it will pick up soon.

I've had good success with a flasher and aggressive jigging when then numbers pick up.

missoulafish is right. If you are able to sight fish them, you will catch way more. Very rarely have I caught kokanee up there that you feel the bite when they eat the bait. The bite should be on. I was up there a couple weekends ago and ended up with 164, and 116 the weekend before that.

I was up just before Christmas we got about 25 salmon but missed about 125.  Super light biters.  I would just watch the flasher and when my jig was bright red I'd lightly set the hook and 50% of the time I'd hook one. The smallest bobber you can find and a pink shrimp on the bottom.  Really attracted the rainbows too.  Caught a bunch, and a couple were hogs. Good luck

Was up there yesterday and we could see the salmon just couldn't seem to get them to bite. Only ended up with 5 salmon and 4 trout.
