Newmarket - where can I buy smelt?

going to winni saturday AM and want to buy smelt somewhere either local or along the way.  anyone know where i can pick some up?  oh and i'm not going anywhere near meredith...

You can pick some up at Suds N' Soda over on 33 in Greenland.

If you are heading to the Alton end of the lake, the store at the Alton circle has em.

I would get them at the alton traffic circle store or you can get them in New durham at hotspot outfitters right at the flashing lights by Johnsons dairy bar on rt 11

Last year there was a bait shop in downtown Alton, right next to the pizza joint. I don't know if they are in buss. this year or not. I will have to find out since nobody mentioned it, maybe its not there anymore. I got bait there before and they were open real early.

just called and they don't sell them for bait.  they sell great bay smelt for eating though

AJ's just got a nice batch of big smelt in the other day. Some up to 6 inches almost.... He is in the Center Harbor area. Great guy will take care of you too
