Lowrance X67c

Just picked one up today online for about $25 less than normal, and free S&H. I will be bringing it on my trip in 16 days. Will also serve as fish finder on our jon boat.

Main reasons why I picked it up:

Color screen
Better battery life than other flashers
Can me used in standard mode (normal fish finder/graph mode)
Price


It was either this, or the Genz Vex pack. I went for "this". 


It seems the previous "kinks" that some owners reported have been worked out, which is why I pulled the trigger. I sure hope it can help put us on the fish. We'll be busy!!

You made a great choice.  I fished behind a FL18 ultra pak for 3 years and sold it last spring and purchased the X67c.  Man I can't believe the difference.  I fish a lot of deep water at times and its super nice to be able to zoom any part of the water column you choose, didn't have that luxury with my vex............  I'm usually in graph mode as I just love the picture it give's me, one that stays on the screen for a few seconds not like the vex unless the fish was parked right under you and sitting still................. .

Thanks. I like the Vex's, but the color screen is so nice to look at. I looked at a few in store, not specifically the X67, but I got the idea. I don't know how people don't fish without the color screens. Man they are crisp!

Almost like going from a regular color tv to a high def one...........I'm still amazed with mine and every time I go out I find something else in the menu that makes it even that much better.
