I have not been able to catch too many panfish out there this year because the pike keep getting in the way.  The pike pictured below was a blast to catch and release on my light fishing gear (3lb. line, no leader, Custom Jigs and Spins #12 Pink Diamond Jig tipped with a minnow).

I just started this year and have a couple good spots for pannies but want to get into some toothy critters.
