I have fished the northend & southend for gills. 15-25 ft. did well, some big gills
Also walleyes in deeper water. Not this year
????
Let me know if the ice is good/ Lots of snow.
I have been fishing Bordman lake for pike-----2'' of good ice 8"slush/snow :-\ Some good size fish.
Good luck/Be safe.

I live on silver, I fish for 'eyes.  I target the deep side of the weed edges from 12  - 25'.  Also the points and hump hold fish.  The mouth to the cove the public access is in can be produtive first ice.  It has been a low light daytime bite for me.  I've found quality fish, not quantity.

I would be comming off of the east side and will just be walking out.  Are there any spots over there so I dont have to go far?  The landing that you are talking about is on the east correct?

yes east side access, come out the cove to the start of the main basin, 15- 25' of water, this would be your closest spot from the public access.  If u get real ambitious, head NNW to the 20' hump. Good luck
