There are a few homes back in there so normally the road is plowed, but it can get pretty slick, there are a few spots on the road that don't get sun and some pretty steep spots. I fish it pretty often and about half of the time will use four wheel drive before getting to the lake, just to be safe. it's not hard to get to, just hit Hy67 out of divide south like your going to cripple creek, I don't remember the road names from there but I'm sure google maps will get you there. its about an hour to an hour and a half drive.
