Anyone been out on Keweenaw Bay since the thaw?

How is the ice out from Whir-I-Gig and Assinins?

My wife and I went out both Sat. and Sun. afternoon/evenings. The ice was down to 8" - 10' but was still solid. We caught 3 each day including a nice 26" my wife caught right at sunset on Sun. evening. We were fishing in around 260' of water. I think that is the last time we will try it this spring with all the rain in the forecast.
