Went out out to a little walk in lake today. 12 fish between two of us got 4 keepers.

There was a little bit of slush under the snow close to shore but once we got out a bit it was good. About a foot or so of ice now.

Ya getting practiced up an the small stuff ;) I might have to break down and hit pete for some bigger stuff. I think I had the biggest "non-pete" bow last year(P.G.area) hoping to do the same this year :)

Those are some nice 'bows...looks like you had a good day. 

I am GREEN with envy.  Our ice just stopped forming...got 6-10 inches of snow last night, after a day an a half of rain earlier this week.

I get to wait even LONGER now.  :-[
