Cheese land or maybe Canada.

Not much to see around me.

14 in ice in Genny canal.  Fish caught.  Gills like meat on the hook.

Is there any public access at Deep Lake?  I was told there wasn't but I never really have checked.  I drive by it almost every day.

Go to Jack and Lidia`s, pay to park and get access right there.

may have to consider that.  If I come over I will have a frabil venture and it will be on top of a sled that I fabed a rack to hold it up of the ice.  May have to stop at farm and fleet though to get some creepers.

Awesome gill, BB_1.  Thought it was bigger.  Had a few pigs on at dusk only got one thru hole.  Heck might be back tomorrow if nothing else surfaces. Ever fish any bridge areas of canal thru ice?????

No over my way they are mostly tubes so dont really want to get real close to them.  I did end up with 4 dsecent crappies and 1 bass that was just over 14.  I caught another that was about 12 and had 2 others that were big to the hole and lost.  plus had a really big one on by the camera and he broke my 2lb test pretty easily.  Tomorrow looking to head out to mautinos to try again and see if I can find some more decent crappie to put in the freezer.

Got 2 guys looking for a place to go if you think ice is good Mautino's might be the spot.  I steer pretty wide of stuff covering ice like bridges just was looking for access point to get down a ways then on canal.  Since I know nothing about the canal I suppose its like 2 feet deep most places?

no blu it runs about 3-4 from sheffield to the east end then from just before the feeder hits it till the other side of geneseo it runs good but dont know from there to the river but would imagine it is deeper.  I know a few spots that are anywhere from 6-8' deep.

Gonna try a few spots after next cold snap figure with minimal flow but flow depth not a big issue. Guess I better find that camera back.
