marcum vs vexilar
« on: Dec 01, 2008, 07:48 PM »
Can anybody tell me why marcum has more power than vex? Does vex know something I don't? I'm a proud owner of a vx-1 but I like the display of the vex fl-20 ultra pack. Can any body influence me into the right decision on witch way to go,vex or marcum?

A lot of times interference signals are caused from too much gain for the water depth not another sonar . Start with the gain all the way down and work up until you get a solid line that indicates the bottom . As soon as the mark starts to flutter back it down a little , just enough to regain the solid line again .

It was a fl-8 Mine is a vx-1. do you love your lx-5? do you know if the vex fl-20 has individual bulbs for true color display?
