Nice work. I always thought building your own would be a good summer/off season project with my dad now I really want to make some. I'm sure I will run into you this winter and I'm looking forward to seeing them in person. ;D

actually, cutting, preparing, staining the wood was 80% of the work. assembly took about 10-15 minutes a tilt.

roncarr... i never user heavy leaders, i believe in giving the fish a chance. i may even file off the barbs this year. i think it makes you a better fisherman if you have to finnese the fish to the hole vs. haul a 6lb bass on a 20lb leader.  kind of like the Pats playing a high school team..just my 2 cents

where are you getting the 40-up parts? I made 30 tilts before last season with 40-up parts but I had to drive from MA to VT to get them, and they were leftover parts that won't be in there again.
