i have been contacted by a group of people that want to flim our moosehead trip( hardwater08 ) i did not yes or no i wanted to see how the members felt about this

hi there
my friend Matt and I are filming a documentary out of our own pocket, he has a new production company (Rising Tide Films)..its going to be mostly about ice fishing culture in Maine specifically.
For the moosehead trip, we'd probably stay up there for a night and day of fishing/filming. the film crew would be small- maybe 4-5 people, myself included. I'm a registered Maine fishing guide and really want to show the interaction of ice fishermen, stories, food, etc.

Can't see any downside Dave. Promoting the sports should be a good thing. Might get a plug in there for IS and MIAA, which wouldn't hurt. The statute of limitations has run out on most of the bad things I did in my youth, so I wouldn't be afraid of being caught on camera!

Dave. Who are these people affiliated with? Where will this piece of cinamatic gold be shown? Just a bit of standard caution before diving headlong into this. Last time I was offered free beer the end result wasn't pretty ( I tried real hard not to wake her when I left

Good question, Dad. I was also wondering if the filming would be only on the ice or would it also include the festivities in the lodge? If so, then some of the ice fishers may not feel so comfortable spending so much time lounging around in their long johns...well, maybe it won't make any difference!

the only difference would be in the rating of the movie.

as of right now they WILL NOT BE STAYING WITH US but if they decide to i would put them in a cabin of their own
steve not sure who they are affiliated with but one of them is a shanty member
