Bluegill Action
« on: Mar 14, 2008, 08:00 AM »
Does the Bluegill action seem to pick up this time of year? Should I look shallower for them or stick to where I always get them at?

The bigger fish are starting to get much more agressive. Shouldn't need to rely on the #14 & #16 jigs to trigger bites anymore unless your fishing heavily pressured waters.

all is true this should be a good weekend.  For the most part of this season I found them shallow.  Not always the case I think this past season was a great shallow and sightfishing year for those that pressed in to the shallows or fish shallow lakes.
