Lake St. Clair, Anchor Bay 2-24-2008

1st Spot I was 1/4 mile out from the Raft and it was all cloudy...moved a mile out and it was crystal clear...for about an hour then the cloudy water moved in. :(

Kept 4 keepers in my bucket of water and didn't get any more so I let them go to grow!!!!

Here's when I was a Mile out...them shanties gotta be 2 miles out!

The ones I got came rushing in alone and smacked my minnows. Didn't have any "Schools" swim through, just single fish.

I got an invite to fish the raft today, kinda glad I didnt go. I stayed farther south. Basically the same results but I saved gas $

Fished by beacon cove in 8 fow caught 80 between the three of us.  Pretty steady all day no real rushes and had to chase em.  I will tell you what, these big lake perch a lot diffrent then the pond perch I have been catching around my area.  Nice and fat, I will try and post pics soon did take a few.

I did not see any pike, set up a tip up with a golden shinner a little later in the day but no flicks.
