Finally got a chance to hit Quinte last weekend.  I was still stewing over missing the G2G weekend in early February  >:(

We got up to the Belleville area on Friday afternoon for the dusk bite and left on Sunday mid-morning before the weather turned on us.

I didn't have a stellar outing but managed a new PB 'eye regardless.  As a group we landed and released about 30 eyes and lost about a dozen on the way up to the hole.

Sorry I missed ya at Skevy's Jeff_C... would have been nice to finally chat with ya.

I don't have many pics as they're on Rich's camera still... maybe he can post 'em inline.

Peng...

Rich

Peng again...

A double digit was my goal for the trip, but had to settle with a new PB, 9lb4oz.

Tight lines
Don

The 3rd picture of Peter, looks like he was holding his breath!! Might have been the smell!!! I had a couple of fish on the weekend but they were all quickly released!!

I did catch most of the bigger ones for the other guys but only by sticking my arm in the water and making sure that they wouldn't get away.
When Hell freezes over !!!!  I'll be there icefishing!!!

Yeah, props go to WB for helping that slob find his way up onto the ice... had he grabbed the line like he was thinking of doing, he'd have the knuckle marks in his head to prove he was there! j/k bud!  Did anyone get a pic of that bigger one you got?

Hey Don great report and congrats on the PB.I'm having a good laugh at Pete's pics. :laugh:Peter looks like he did many years back when we were way out the same water and he ate bad Pizza with no Bathroom was in sight :embarassed:.Hey Pete you're catching fish it's a joyful experience. ;D.

Oh yeah noticed his back's a lot better ;D

I had a chance to head down there this weekend and would have really loved to go but some family issues prevented it.
