Fun day on the Bay

Although no Pike were caught today, it was still a blast chasing after flags the popped up all afternoon and awaiting the suspenseful moments of the next flag and what would be on it... We had well over twenty flags go up today in a span of 5 hours. All we caught were dozens of perch, some that ate our bass minnows on the tip-ups, and the others that ate our jigs with mousies. Hope you enjoy.
P.S.... I did lose something that felt quite large the took out loads of line, but it came off  :(    but thats what makes me keep coming back lol



Yes, my hand is laying on the ice... its not an illusion haha








These last 2 pics are the same fish.... it measured just a lil over 10 inches.

Great looking perch!  Sounds like you had some big perch hitting your tip-ups...  I hate it when that happens..

awesome colors on that fish!!!   That rod/reel looks like a RedWolf,  but ive never seen them i stores,  pretty sharp looking.

Yeah it is a redwolf... The reel on it sucks, but I love the action of the rod, it has handled 6lb bass and it is a blast! I switched the reel with abu garcia reel, drag is fantastic!
