Jan. or Feb. better?

What month do you find to be the best bite for walleye? My best luck usually falls in February. How about you guys?

i'd also have to say february or late february.  seems like that's when they start to move shallower getting ready for spawning.

Through the ice, Feb is tops. Open water, have to say November.

I do very well from Febuary-April on the ice. Numbers wise its about the same in that time period. Later on though you get more trophy fish as they move in to spawn.

I do great in December and January and for me they seem to shut down in February.  I have only been ice fishing for about 5-6 years but am addicted to Walleye fishing.  Any tips for February fishing would be GREATLY appreciated (depth, time of day, type of bait etc.).  Thanks.

in late February/ early March ive always done best in 10-4' on river mouths. I fish at night with small hunts minnows 2-3"
