Klinger Lake

Anyone been on Klinger Lake in St. Joseph county? If so did you do any good?

Before we got all that rain i heard they were driving quads on Klinger

I know people have been out there,just wondering if anyone has done any good.I hope to get out this week after work didn't know if Klinger would be worth my effort.Don"t guess many people fish it on this site.

Yes the avatar looks fine...

I haven't had a chance to fish it this year, although I do good every other year, whether it be for walleye, bluegills, perch, etc... Never have skunked there.

If people have there permanent shanties out there, then I would say you will be fine ice wise... Best time is between 8-11am and then 5-8pm... Just FYI.

To access it, the best spot is off of Klinger Lake Rd, on a side road past the "Klinger Lake Store" on Klinger Lake Rd. There is a little access thing between a couple of houses that everyone walks through. Just park on the side road, and I am sure you will do fine. It is a long walk out there though.

I've only fished klinger a couple times and that was off the access site. Did really well out there a couple years ago but havent done very well since.

I usuall fish Lee lake in Sturgis, or Fisher lake over by Three Rivers.Went up to Long lake in Portage last weekend for pike and didnt do to bad.

I think I will go to Portage lake this weekend.
