Ice looks better!

I went out to Cedar Pond last night for a few hours.  The ice looks 100% better after the rain than before it rained.  All we need now is a good cold snap and the ice will be great again!

I gather there's little or no snow on the ice?

I have a couple places in mind that are in the lakes region.

weht to cobbetts pond to check the ice today and the ice really doesnt look bad..  had 3in black and 4-5in of white.  thought there would have been less with the weather but maybe the snow help the ice...  will be out there or canobie lake this weekend..    shaun

i just went to phillips and the ice does look good........some puddles........my only concern is the edges going on......the are starting to break up a bit

most of the ponds i checked are loseing there shoreline ice
