Making Tip-Ups
« on: Dec 31, 2007, 12:44 PM »
Greetings Fellow New Yorkers.  Happy New Year!

Does anyone know who you would contact to have the metal pieces of a tip-up made?  Specifically the trip wire, case for the trip wire,
metal spools, and the flag.  Something tells me machine shop but I am not sure.

Also, what about a wood worker?  I don't have any table saws or stuff like that so I would need someone to make the bases.  Has anyone done this before?

Thanks.
Rob Taylor

A friend of mine makes them out of old hockey sticks. I'll see if I can get some pics.
