Just got back from the valley the fishing was great, steady action From the time the sun came up then it slowed down after noon. The first fish just bumped the hook. I thought it was the wind then it about ripped the pull out of my hands. It yanked out a lot of line and put up a good fight then it shot through the hole and iced it's self. I had to tape it, as it was a good one just under twenty inches. That meant I could catch another big one. I realest several small ones then moved the other rod out about twenty feet from me but at the same depth. I went back to the jig rod and took a seat it wasn't but 10 seconds when it bounced a little so walked over and set the hook. The real started zipping it took a long time to get this fish in and when it came through the hole it was hooked in the side. it was a good twenty three inches it was hard to let it go but I did. couldn't believe that I was able it ice it as the bard did not go through the scales. I caught three more small one that I kept then realest fish till almost dark at 3:45. I told my self that I would fish for fifteen more minuets then leave. at that point my fish poll went nuts the line shot off the real till I could see the spool then it turned and came back like a rocket I saw it go by the hole and my eyes went out of there sockets this one was worth the wait the thing took all the line off the real four time the hole filled with weeds and my fingers started to freeze then I got it on the ice just took the tape to it 26 inches wished the camera wasn't broke.
