started up my auger today! man wat a lovely sound it was. also made a new sled out of an old  coffin i made for haloween.. its actually pretty well put together.. gona try to do some fishing this weekend

May be mean, but it's funny when you hear the sounds of things banging around in the shanty next door followed by a S*n of a B&*#h!!!!   I laugh my beans off. :D

i got an old jiffy that hadn't been started in over a year. went in 2 pulls without ever being summerizied  ;D

reved her up to blow out the jets a little. she'll be ready soon though with 100 to 1 Opti2 oil, a new gas tank (if i find one) and a bosch plug

Got the auger running this past weekend, and have spent the last two nights getting the tip ups and gear in tip top shape.  I am ready to go! ;D

You know it!  I plan on slaying them this year!  Now if I can just figure out how to post pics, I will be all set.  ;D  Whitetail, I will send you a pm when flint hardens up a bit more, hopefully it wont be as cold and windy as it was the lat time you headed out this way.  :tipup:

Last year at the end of the season my auger acted up and jumped out of my hand and the throttle handle broke off. Forgetting about it all summer. I went to order one and they are out of stock, so I brought the handle and the auger to a machine shop where they made me a new one and a spare. Second pull VVVRROOOOOMMM! I missed that sound.(((((FLAG))))) :tipup:

It's not old just a foolish mistake on my gloves part. I learned to never wear gloves usind a 3hp auger again. It's just 2 years old.

There really is no better sound---My 1984 Jiffy 30 fired up in 7 pulls....year 23 with the ole betty!
