Washington county bait shops?
« on: Dec 06, 2007, 11:03 AM »
Anyone have a listing of bait shops in Washington County?  Any hole-in-the-wall places?  The only one I can find is Honey's in Whitehall, but he doesn't have any bait yet.  Maybe tomorrow, maybe next week  ::)   Sucks I have one in VT 5 minutes away which does me no good.

Anyone know of any others?  I'm not really willing to drive to Lake George area to spend $15 a dozen on shiners.

Honey's Bait is right on 22 in Whitehall.  Don't have a phone number for the place, he is on the right headed out of town, on the lower floor of the Dollar Store.  Good bait and reasonable prices.

The closest bait shop that I know of to Honey's is in Ticonderoga in Essex County. I think the name is Manning's bait shop.

This will be the battlecry of the season who has bait, who is open, and what is the price?

Let's not forget 'bout tykes guys. He's a little past honey's on the right on 22. Heading east. It's a lil old shack. Keep your eyes peeled soon as you pass light. Pry no phone. Good luck. Does anyone know if t bar t's is still open on bay in Qby, ny. It used to be a 24 hr bait shop. You could ring doorbell at shop at 2 am. They get out of bed to sell you bait. These people were awseome. Although i never had the heart to wake 'em up. My buddies did plenty of times.

I'm not sure if it is open or not. He probably won't survive the newest bait crunch anyway. Sad but true alot of these little guys are pry going under this year if not already.
