Today's ice fishing derby

i'd like to know what happened to the derby....i thought it was suposed to last till 1 or 2.... one of the guys in my group went to enter a fish and everyone was gone..not complaining about it at all, thank you for the contest, but why we close down early?

it was because of the wind i stayed till 2 and we got 2 more pickeral everyone started leaveing and thats when the call was made they walked around and told everyone if you were in the area that was ruled opon you should have heard it from shawn he walked all over telling everyone

we didnt hear anything....we were on the far shore. but it's ok...was good to be out anyway.

I would like to add my thanks for the effort put in and a job well done. Had a good time and enjoyed myself. Was a slow and nasty day with the wind. Calling it early was a majority decision, it did not take long for everyone who got the word to bail. The ice in front of Dow's cleared just as fast as if you dropped something light and the wind caught it. I think Laurie at Dow's also deserves a THANK-YOU as well from one and all.
