State Park fees (Off Season)
« on: Jan 19, 2007, 05:32 PM »
If your a fisherman or fisherwoman, and your inside a state park, do you still need to pay the user fee of $2.00 a day, even in the off or closed season?

We have to pay at Boysen 365 days a year   ???   and I don't know that there's a closed season there. I find the easy thing to do is just buy the annual for daily access and camping.

Thanks ex-Lt,
That is what I thought. Years ago I remember that during the off season from like Oct till the end of March it was free, but that was 18 years ago. I have most years just purchased a yearly pass, for camping and daily.

Thanks again
Good fishing

Bill, about $45 total for both vehicles, which includes camping permits for both and Big R in Riverton is where I go, but you can get them at the Park office by the dam...if you don't also go for the camping permits, you have to be outta the park by 10 pm on just a day-use...Don

HI, I thoroughly enjoy enjoy this site. Myself and my father are coming up to ocean and/or boyeson feb2,3,4, never been there any help with ling or walley would be greatly appreciated. My father and I have not been able to fish together for probably 12 years. Neither of us have ever fished for ling or walleye. I wish this trip to be very memorable for us. Thanks for any and all input.

Hi and welcome to IS WY, try page 6 of our previous posts and look at "Ocean Lake-6 inches of ice". There's a lot of info under that as well as some of our other posts, but that one has all the basic where-to-get-minnows info etc.  Enjoy. LT  ;D

State park fees don't look too bad in Wyoming . Utah is 5.00 in the winter time and 9.00 in the busy season (summer) . State park Pass is the only way to go in this state but hey I fish a lot too .
