Went to Twin today; twin lakes that is, for some ferocious tigers. They were attacking big time, likely landed about 30 between myself and a buddy within a few hours, no exact count as I lost track after about 10 myself. Heres a few pics of the day.

A nice 22 inch female, after a five minute battle on 4lb test and a light action rod, wow, do these things ever put up a fight!

19 inch male.

17-18 incher.

A common sight today.

Nice colors on em.

Another 22 inch female.

And whats this? A Brown in Twin? Who knew? Anybody?

A bonus from the hatchery I guess. I didn't think they stocked any.

A 20 incher, my first trophy brown, never thought I would get it there.

I took that pic of the brown with the self timer cause my buddy was way over there in the shack, while I went to check out some new waters as the bite had slowed a bit, I am sure glad I did.

The road into twin is also plowed out nice, you can drive in with a car if you want. The ice varies from 6-10 inches, with a little slush, and only a few inches of snow. I was excpeting up to a foot and lots of slush but it was nice. However there is a fair bit of slush ice anywhere from 2-8 inches, with 3-6 inches of good ice underneath, there was a lot of variaton in ice due to the areation.

wow your really luck man, to be able to hook that many trout and have them that big. I can only imagine. Those colors are magnificent

Yes, it was an awesome day. I was looking to beat my PB 22.5 inch male I caught last year around this time, but all the rest of the nice ones including the brown made up for it. I never did get a pic of the 22.5 inch male in spawning colors last year,

I want a 24 incher now.

Wonderful pics! That brown has the colors of a wild fish, IMO. Perhaps there are streambed fish in the inflow? A real trophy either way!

Fantastic! Those trout numbers are usually reserved for perch catches, but your trout are a lot bigger and give a heck of a lot more fight - WTG!

Good work - those are some good sized trout. I think that I may need my fix of tigers soon. You can't beat such aggressive and steady action from a hard fighting fish.

Its still alive and swimming in there for some other lucky person to catch. Its a catch and release only lake, and artificial bait only too, and I hope it stays that way. I just found out, that I am not the only one to have caught a brown here. Someone else has pics of two caught flyfishing, so there are anywhere from 1-3 browns for sure in there maybe more.
