How many rigs you gotta spool? It gets cheaper as you shop for a larger spool. I'd prefer getting actual fishing line as opposed to something intended for something else. Fishing line is usually woven tighter and can be found with various coatings. How much you will need/use will depend on the size of your spool. My spools will hold about 50 yards of very tightly woven 36# Dacron. It's all I need. My last bulk spool was 30# which is still plenty strong, just not quite as easy to handle, but the price was right.
