Bought one the other day, I don't think I'd pick one up for my primary shanty, I already have a Trap and a DX4000, but the Pak Shack will certainly fill a niche in my ice fishing expeditions, those ponds I have to hike into and those impromptu jaunts out on local lakes for a few hours. No need to hassle with the trap or portable. The price was right, I'll let ya know more after a season of use.

 The wife just picked up my Pak Shack last night with a double score points coupon at Dick's Sporting Goods.  I can't wait to put her on the ice.  8)   Fish On!

Make sure you ancor it down as soon as you set it up,that or make sure you have the video camera out so we can see how fast it takes off. I set one of these up outside with a 5 mph breeze and it tipped and filled like a paracute. Hope it works out for you,but I wouldnt be able to use one around here.

I think they would be ok if there was a way to lock the shelter in the open position. The way they are,a little wind can get under the cover and "poof"its gone, lol. Let us know how it works for you.
