Fish 307 suprise

After a couple year break, we decided it was time again to make our annual trip to the Log Jam restaurant to visit with family from Vermont. That location is in the middle for everyone. When I arrived I was disappointed to see there was no Fish 307 located next door. My real enjoyment  to the trip. Then I noticed the sign with new address.
What a great new space, great folks with all the ins and outs of the new equipment. I had fun and a great experience. Very impressive new location with much better parking and access.

They moved to 814 Goggins Rd, Lake George, NY 12845, one more exit north.

Went yesterday...but underwhelming if you ask me but that may be because they didnt have what I was looking for.

Yup!  Prefer bait up at Schroon Bait and Tackle, and the service there second to none.  Call at 2am and get bait.  Priceless.

Their availability is second to none. Knowing i can leave as earlylate as i need to and still get bait is fantastic. Dont think ive ever stopped when its been light outside  Have always been happy with quality ive gotten from them as well.

The highest around. Arties in the outlets carries bait and ice gear at much more reasonable pricing.

 I made a trip to the new 307 myself. While there, I found everything I had on my list. In defense of their prices, yes maybe they are a bit higher than Walmart but does Walmart have the have the inventory and brand name merchandise that 307 is stocked full of ? I think not. Personally I am in favor of shopping as local as possible and 307 is the most local with the selection that I wish to find. They must have a ton of over head and I'll bet that most would be disappointed if they were to close as many other small shops have. I'll give them my business when I am able and be thankful that they are there.  That's just my $.02

Stopped in at 307 the last two years when we were on vacation fishing lake George. The staff was friendly and they had what we needed. The price thing I agree with 62. The best shop close to me is 30 minutes the wrong way from where we fish, but he’s a great guy and has pretty much everything.
