Strikemaster new magnetic blade cover
« on: Nov 14, 2022, 03:54 PM »
Has anyone tried these yet? Says they’re for the lite-flight but shows am 8 or 10” option when ordering. I guess I could say I’m a little confused.

Those magnets work great. Why do you wonder about 8 or 10?

Bought one this weekend.  Looks like it'll be a big upgrade.  Place to put your foot to pull it off, two plastic clips and magnets to hold it on.

I checked them out the ice show in Sioux Falls, SD. Only concern I had was if the plastic would hold up to the cold and constant use. But I’m guessing they tested it thoroughly and probably won’t be a problem.

I’ve had old hard drive magnets on my laser augers  factory guard for years. Works wonderfully, never come off when you don’t want them to, pull off with your foot, jumps back on when you set the blade back into the guard.

Yes they do LFVLF-10...new this season ...I dont believe they will be selling them w/o the power head not sure where I saw that...MSRP $699.99..description says comes with the magnetic cover.

Midway USA has them on there site ...auger drill unit only but not it stock ...but once again not certain they will be for sale.
