Very, very slow perching at MDB Monday and Tuesday mornings even in GPS spots that last week were hot.  Tough walking b/c jagged frozen slush from the weekend zoo.  Where the jagged frozen slush wasn't a hassle, deep crusted snow was.  The coming week and more of warm weather is going to make for tougher going through slush.  Could mean an early end to a season that began so early . . . Bring back the Canadian cold!

Perch bite has been great with more bigger fish than usual. Don’t be afraid to try new spots. Crowds of people don’t always mean they’re catching!

The snow will just prolong the season no matter how hard it is to transverse.

Vets was fine on Friday.  Limited out just as it started to rain.  Timing is everything.

been out once. Drilled 5 holes to find fish and limited quickly. Not good fish. (  9 to 9.5 inches with 2 10s mixed in. But they were incredible eats!
There was no one within 400 yards of me. This spot last year was "so so" and 2 years ago was killer. You just never can be  postive a  hot spot will stay hot. I move FAR when I get into them dinks
friends dont let friends fish dead holes.
