Conesus, Candice South end Access
« on: Jan 27, 2022, 01:51 PM »
I am having a hard time find any information on access points on the south end of Conesus and Candice lakes.  For candice the best I saw is that there are "several places to pull off the road" to access the lake and for Conesus it looks like there is a state parking area, but that appears to back to an inlet/outlet.  Does that freeze and can you safely get on from there?

Canadice should have an area about 2/3rd of a mile up from the turn at Candice Haul Rd and Canadice Lake Rd where there is a little extra parking and people launch canoes/kayaks in the summer, might be some boats around chained to trees. Think that's about as far south as you will get access. Worst case just look for tire tracks in the snow from people parking the past week.

Yes people park and ice fish there. Just give the outlet a little room.

That's awesome - thanks for sharing.  Have you been out there yet this season?
