Last Mountain is HUGE, about 70 mi long (often called Long Lake) 1 - 2 mi across.  Be careful (as always) if you drive on - go wide around points and watch out for heaves that can rise up several feet.  There's lots of good spots, it's just a matter of finding out which are currently producing.  Collingwood just north of Rowan's Ravine Park is often good  at first light, and south of Rowan's there's Fox's Point, Spring Bay and Swanson's Point.  That's the deeper, steeper part of the lake and since the drop off is something like 5' to 80' in 25 yds (Fox's) you could really catch anything there. I heard that the stone barn across the lake from Glen Harbour was producing last week, but there was only 5" of ice, so that's a good place to park on shore! They were catching lots of pike at Kinookimaw west of Regina Beach a few weeks ago,  but I didn't see many guys fishing there the other day, so the bite may be over.  I know it's been slow at Pelican Pt. because I fish there a lot ( I've got a place there), but I was still able to get a few perch and the odd burbot.  Same as anywhere, you've got to find 'em first!   good luck to you,  buzzbomb

Collingwood is 5 miles north of rowans ravine. turn north at gas station just outside of park go up about 5 miles and turn west at sign that says collingwood estates. you can drive on there the ice is about 18 inches thick. fish straight out in front of cottages in about 30 feet deep. biting on jigging spoons tipped with eyes and minnows.
