Eskimo Pull cord saga
« on: Jan 28, 2021, 05:44 PM »
Im on pull cord number 4 in 5 years.  The clutches inside just click when engaged; its not the pull cord that snaps.  Does anyone have a solution or an aftermarket pull start that I wont need to replace every year?

Are you yanking the heck out of? Don't use a full arm pull on 2 strokes; a short quick pull is what's required AFTER you feel the dogs engage on the clutch. Pull slowly until it catches, then the short quick pull.

they have an updated pull start that is easy peasy.  other than that just pull slow until you feel resistance then a quick short tug.
