Acme Google Eye jig.
« on: Jan 17, 2021, 09:21 AM »
Does anyone use these jigs.  I fished one yesterday for the first time and I am truly impressed.  I was fishing the glow wonder bread pattern and the glow of this jig is more intense than any other jig in my box. The insane glow with the gentle rattle of the rattle in the eye triggered bites over the standard glow tungsten that I was rotating into the hole. It is a little more expensive but it is a quality addition to my jig box.

no I haven't but sounds good.  I been using the forage fry jigs last several years.  I favored them because of the big low also.  they don't rattle though.  thanks, ill try n remember to get some of them.

Funny you bring these up.  I bought some of these last year because Tom Boley was raving about them.  When I dropped them in the hole last year all the fish I was marking scattered like they were terrified, whereas regular tungstens they would eat.  I haven't used them this year because that didnt really give me much confidence in them.  If you have had success on them, I should give them another shot.  I think mine were the 3mm or 4mm (which is like 3-4x the size of a standard 3 or 4mm teardrop).

I bought one...  I havent really used it, but I'm not super impressed.  Kind of looks like a rip off from the Thundermist flexi-jig, but more geared towards ice fishing.
