I thought is was a simple fix lol... And yes the Velcro peeled off my sled within 10 uses...I don't remember seeing anywhere on the website where it mentioned the Velcro connection when purchasing the FX100 after fishing the Recon for years & my buddies Scout the Velcro was an unwelcomed surprise. I haven't noticed the seams that much but I'm usually busy staring at my Vex.
call sahppell and get your free replacement tub. the next one won't do it.
their manuals are always there for any of them if you want to know more before buying some thing.

I received my FX-100 just yesterday. Did not start putting it together yet, but read the beginning of the manual.
Now I have a question, they say that it is HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED, or even PROHIBITED to use any sort of heaters there and they also do not recommend packing it with snow on the sides.

Is that a typical warning that comes with all the shelters? (this is my first)
Because I know a lot of you guys use buddy heaters there and I just bought one as well. Just wondered if it's typical warning for all shacks?

so survivors can't take them to court if you die. they add vents for a reason too ;)
just be smart when using a heater in a small space like that.
use mr heater to help with that problem.

Yeah, they are just covering their butt. Using a heater in any small enclosed area always calls for caution. Also , I recently purchased a FX 100 and so far I love it. Installing lights and a battery box this weekend. Will be adding a boat seat, with a quick release seat soon too .  That way I can take the seat off before lifting it into the SUV.

I had sat in the Scout several times , but was not really impressed with it. More storage room in th FX , wider fishing area, and way lighter. Customer Service is supposed to be good also.

When I sat in the shappell right where all the bolts and poles attach the canvas has a slot in it where air would get in and that kind of turned me away but maybe I'm over reacting but I don't like wind coming in
