Chinese under water camera
« on: Dec 11, 2019, 07:38 AM »
Anyone ever use the Chinese eBay version of the aqua view costs about 65 bucks was thinking about ordering just for viewing structure not a big fan of fishing with cable going down hole. Let me know if anyone has had any experience with them and if for the price they are worth it

It looks like you will get what you pay for.

My AquaVu is waterproof and that one certainly is not.

For $65 you might try it out and report how it went.

My expectations are low, however,

im Just thinking for the amount I will actually be using besides just some recon work I can’t justify spending 2-300 dollars but for 65 bucks worst case I wasted 65 bucks maybe someone has one on here

I have wasted $65 many times on stuff that was less useful.

I got an Eyoyo camera last year and use it for scouting, finding weed edges etc. Think it was $80 or so. Haven't had any issues with it and it has held up and has ok resolution.

Agreed, if you are looking for the budget version I would highly consider the Eyoyo. They look nice, my local baitshop has been selling them and he says they are holding up well.

I haven't looked at all so this is probably a stupid question. But does Eyoyo have a camera like the Recon5 or Aqua View that isn't in that big briefcase looking box. I want a handheld / pocket sized one.

I ended up ordering on eBay for 65 dollars free shipping it’s a 3.5 inch screen with an internal battery and very small camera and light duty cable that’s 15 meters long so about 45 ft I would imagine it would fit in your pocket just fine no big bulky case and 12 v battery to hook up

I was about to make my own thread on eyoyo since they are a site sponsor and also moocor and then saw this thread.
I swear eyoyo used to have a portable one like a recon on Amazon but now I can't find it. Maybe sold out?

Anyone used moocor portable one?

I have the small one that the cord wraps around the back of, but don't see them online anymore. I keep it in my Eagle Claw rod case so it's always with me.

Let's us know what you think of it once you get it on the ice.  I'll be interested to see what you think.  I've been contemplating a similar move, but just haven't pulled the trigger!

I think there are a few threads down in the Equipment forum on them, reviews seem mixed but generally ok. I'm in the same situation as you, not being able to justify a $300 purchase but feeling like it would be handy and kind of fun to have one. Thinking I may wind up biting the bullet and going for it.

@GBguy mentioned me there is a post talking about Eyoyo underwater camera. I am the Eyoyo camera manufacturer and also the forum sponsor here, and welcome to tag me for help if any questions!

As far as I know, eBay seller agents always offer a better price than amazon. But you should wait for a long time for international shipping! Suggest purchase it on amazon to get a fast shipping and a local warranty service!

I've been using the Eyoyo for two years now and have not had any issues. I mainly use it for lake trout fishing in 30-45 feet of water and you can see very clearly for 20+ feet. The only thing I regret is I didn't buy the one that can record. I will try and up load pictures and videos soon.
