bibs for 6yr old
« on: Nov 04, 2019, 11:38 AM »
Looking to invest in some bibs for my 6yr old boy and needing some thoughts/reviews from my fellow ice fisherman. Looking at striker but open to anything. Want to buy GOOD ones to keep him out with me as long as I can.

I would direct you to SI as they are just a smaller version/size of their Predator line up and have been in the game for quite a while  ..but other companies have offerings that very comparable but may not offer youth sizing . Any place local that you could try some on for sizing comparison and then look for some on line deals?

As an ice fisherman and father, I would take the child out first if you already haven't. I know from experience when I have a vision of what could be and it doesn't always work out quite the way I invisioned it lol. Only because those bibs will be expensive and if not used much at 6 they will out grow quickly.

I appreciate this info. He has been out with me the last couple years and likes to go. The current pair he has were el cheapos and now are too small. So, I figured I would surprise him and get him a good pair. He will also be using these for playing in the snow in the yard, etc so they will get plenty of use.
