Disclaimer: I own (and love) the Micro Revolution Pro.

Imo there's no comparison; the micro revolution is the hands down winner. The reel is a game changer and makes dropping the camera down to scout quick and easy. Both cameras have similar resolutions and can record if you get the higher version, but the recon's format is obsolete and stretches the video if you play it back on a computer.

Same here, aqua vu micro revolution 5.0 pro.  The wind up feature is the best. 

Friend has the marcum.  He won't pull his out when I'm with him, because it's a pain in the rear to wind up in deeper water.
