Small Boat Harbor
« on: Jan 29, 2019, 08:49 AM »
I have never fished the small boat harbor before however am looking to go this weekend. Generally how deep is the water in the harbor? I want to target perch. Thanks

About 9ft. Expect many tossbacks for only a handful of keepers

If your new to the Small Boat Harbor , stay in the harbor.  Do not go out around the end of the break wall, there is a swift current out there and it takes good thick ice to make that area safe.  By the way there is a Small Boat Harbor thread on the New York Fishing and Conditions page that will give you more info on the harbor.
