My End To The Season
« on: Mar 17, 2006, 11:36 AM »
Well I just packed the auger away. We still have plenty of ice I just don't have any time to fish it. Flyrod in hand a couple weeks from now. Anyways to the pics.....just went and fooled around with the brookies:

Hiking in

Finding the spot:

I got into a few

Fish kept

Scenic

I ended up with 15 total. 13 brooks and 2 bows. Shamus and Jeff got 8 each. Biggest turned out at 16"
My year end totals:
97 Trout
53 Brookies, biggest 19"
44 Rainbows, biggest 22"
Trips taken: 12
Trout/Trip = 8.1

Until the madness begins next year,

That bottom fish looks like a splake with the forked tail and large spots.  I could be wrong, I've only caught a couple.

Like the totals for the year.   Sure beats getting skunked.  Diet Pepsi with Lime?  Maybe that's the secret!?  ;D

Nice pics PGKris.. looks like you had an impressive season for trout numbers!

How do you keep track of your catches? A diary? I tried to keep track one year, however I always seemed too be to busy fishing or I would just plain forget!
Again Nice Job!

No splake here. Yeah I try to write down all my numbers. Sometimes its gets fuddled but I always write while i'm on-ice so i can remember what we used and what worked best. Actually, I lied, I'm going to head out tomorrow and try a new lake just to get out of town.
