Need help.....what’s s the proper operating settings, torque for this drill to  drill thru ice? The tool is a hammer drill.....is set on “drill” at#1 low speed and advised to set
torque way up......at the 14 setting?

drill mode (not hammer )  low speed, clutch shouldnt come into play in drill mode only screw mode

I believe the "FUEL" logo for power tools is associated with Milwaukee brand tools. But no matter, Makita or Milwaukee, 18 volt, ½ inch drills boast over a 1000 inch/lbs torque which is sufficient for ice auger use.
Low speed, Drill mode. Have fishing because drilling just got easier....Yay!  :tipup:
