LAKE DAUPHIN
« on: Mar 11, 2006, 08:57 PM »
Went out this a.m. to a point north of stony point on lake dauphin and fished for 3 hrs. 5 northerns(hammerhandles) 1-perch,1-tulibee. zero walleyes! :'( don't know if it was the weather or what that turned them off. the boys were out the previous couple of days and pounded them.hope they didn't catch them all! ;D access unfortunately is snow machine or bombardier only.this was my first time out in a month and it still beats working! :)

I heard the same report from a friend......one day this week they hammered the walleye.......or should I say......they "wallywhacked" them  :roflmao:
They also reported lots of surface water........rubber boots mandatory.

NICE ride........what make is it (looks like a newer J5)....what  $$ did it set you back?

It actually belongs to a friend, "sticky" of sticky's bait & tackle in dauphin re: picture. It is heated and pretty much idles thru anything.(4 cyl.) not sure what it set him back but i think it was fairly reasonable. It was my first time in it and i was pretty impressed considering the crap we had to go thru. to get to his shacks which he had rented out for the weekend.
