Are there any bait stores around central PA that have jumbo shiners or suckers in stock?? I'm striking out pretty bad.

Tackle shack in Wellsboro. I realize that's in the northern part of central PA, but Don and his staff do a great job. they are one of the best ice fishing shops in PA. He is also a sponsor of this site. Have fun and stay safe, :icefish:

Jims bait on rt. 150 a few miles west of Blanchard Lake , it is also self serve and open 24/7 at least it was last time I was there in late summer. They have live bait of all types . Ph. No. 814-353-4069

Near Howard, I would recommend Riglin's bait shop in Howard.  Just go across the divid to red light and take a left.  It is near the end of road on the right.  It is the best bait store locally.  Jim's bait is not the same as a few years ago.  They do not keep it stocked well.  Stopped in the other evening and had 2 containers of maggots, few crawlers and mealworms.  Did have good amount of large shiners and few dozen fatheads.  Just not the same anymore.
