That hand me down rod

I was given a nice m-l rod last spring cause I was using some ghetto setups. So I finally got a chance to put it to work on some w.p last weekend. It was a demo day for my buddy's dad as he had never seen a flasher in action. Him and his son in law were fishing tip downs which were producing a few fish. But once I found a hot hole he was sold. I let him try a few drops and the hook set when he finally had a bite I thought was a 15# togue... but he had himself a nice 12" perch. He went back to observing and on the next drop things got exciting. My P.B and first salmon on a jig rod. Also the healthiest fish we have seen come out of that lake in a long time.

He's on it.. he got a small demo a few weekends ago and then had it most of the day Sunday. He actually caught a nice w.p with his oldest using the flasher.

Should improve my English. It is my p.b salmon on a jigrod. I'm still trying to beat the 23" I caught of a trap 4-5 years ago
