I picked up several of them. Haven't had a chance to try them out just yet, but they'll be put through their paces on Lake of the Woods at the end of the month if nothing else. They're really, really bright as far as lures go. Especially if you're comparing them to a glow jig.
Again remembering that I have yet to fish with them, my initial thought is that they're too bright and overbearing to reliably expect fish to eat them (not saying that they won't...instead I figure you'll need to come across a really aggressive fish), but that they'll be very effective for jigging up off the bottom next to a deadstick. They should be able to call in curious fish from a long way away. Once the fish arrives to find a wounded minnow struggling, it's easy meal time.
They recently announced on their Facebook page that they've got a prototype for panfish that's expected next year. I took this to mean the same type of lighted spoon in a smaller size. I'm pretty excited about that. Could be effective for crappies, perch, and for the times when the walleyes are a little more shy.
