hey was heading up this way to try some fishing. Was wondering if anyone would want to share where a guy would find a few deeper holes on the river to try.

We used to fish under the old Borden Bridge years ago. Have also fished the South Sask. in the winter a few times. As per the rivers always be cautious. Can be 3 feet of ice in one place and 6 inches a few feet over. Bring weights to get your hook down as the rivers flow real swift under the ice. Also be prepared to get your blades sharpened after as the river ice is full of sand and 3 or 4 holes and your blades will be done. Can be rewarding though for eyes if you get over a river hole.
