NE nebraska ice report

went and looked at grove and several small ponds yesterday. grove is mostly locked in with some open water along the east bank. all of the ponds i checked had 2 to 3 inches of ice on them.

Any reports from the Sandhills

Checked Grove on Christmas day and the guys fishing it said the ice was 4" and building.  With the upcoming highs being in the negatives, it will no doubt be plenty thick.  Anyone heard anything about the ice on Francis Case?

4 inches at Box Butte off of Hunters point.

Kramper lake is at 4+ inches on most spots. Stay away from the springs it looks wet

I drove past Crystal Cove yesterday afternoon and there was a shanty in the South East corner and another fisherman out from the fishing dock.  I will be out there this weekend and report on the thickness.

That was me out from the dock. Ice is variable. most is 4+
