Anybody fishing this weekend?
« on: Mar 14, 2017, 07:34 PM »
My wife and kids are gone to Scotland for almost a month, and I am really hoping to get out this coming weekend. I would love to fish in Massachusetts, but if that is not possible I am heading to Maine, Vermont, or even the Adirondacks of New York. Who else is planning  to get out there?

Not sure Jon, I don't fish for eyes up there but as long as you don't keep them you can fish for anything. Bass season was closed when I was there but we caught over 40, just threw them all back.

May be heading up north to "the big lake" on Sat morn, and see if my brother needs anything since he's without power.
Some areas up north had some serious tree damage. Moultonborough lost a lot of power lines and telephone poles.

I thought about leavitts but long drive for a day trip and the areas I found Lakers would be quite the haul through the snow without a machine...
